Radio DJ Mani (Manikandan) lacks self-confidence, so he's surprised when one of his female listeners, Ruchika (Shivani Singh), expresses a romantic interest in him. When Mani discovers how beautiful Ruchika is, he runs away, and his handsome friend Arvind assumes his identity. Unwilling to tell Ruchika the truth, Mani finally meets her in person -- but continues the charade by telling her that his name is Velu, one of Mani's friends.
