Michael Beets (Those Left Waiting, MIFF 2021) returns with a uniquely Melbourne interactive VR experience, presented in the iconic Campbell Arcade. Supported by the Metro Tunnel Creative Program, Artefacts tells the stories behind items unearthed from archaeological digs connected to the city’s Metro Tunnel project. Each ‘artefact’ reveals a distinct chapter of Melbourne’s history, paving the way for lesser-known perspectives on a very familiar place.
